ABOUT ME

I am a professional photographer based in Bellevue, Washington with on-site services to the greater Seattle region. I specialize in natural light, on-location, modern photography and portraiture catering to commercial editorial and portrait clients. I grew up near Cleveland, Ohio and always had a deep appreciation and love for nature and electronic gadgets. Photography became a perfect bridge to connect the two loves and quickly became my passion. After graduating college with a degree in chemistry, I moved to the Seattle area for a graduate engineering degree at the University of Washington. I have over 15 years of experience with digital SLR photography and over ten years of professional photography experience (many published images in magazines and internet media).Ninety-five percent of what I shoot is on location--either at the beach, at a home, or a park--anyplace that is special to my clients. My photographic style is loose and free--I do not like to pose my subjects; instead, I merely guide them. I want to capture the client’s' real personalities, not a stiff, uptight, fake-smile, posed image. I am interested in creating affordable images that capture the people, places, and moments that make life special.
